	The website was launched by Dr. T. Sirish Chandra who has retired as a professor of Geology from Osmania University, Hyderabad. Having served the Department of Geology for over three decades he has a rich experience in teaching and research as well as guiding post graduate and doctorate students. He has been the Head of the Geology Department and also Chairman, Board of Studies. This website deals with all aspects of Earth Sciences and allied subjects related to Geology. Students, researchers, and scientists who register themselves with the International Academy of Geological Sciences would be permitted to post their published papers on the site. Original research papers are also accepted and will be posted on the site after peer reviewing which may be considered as on line Journal.
New & Events   Gallery         Educational institutions, Universities, and research organizations are requested to kindly send their schedules of  Programs or open invitations about Seminars, Symposia   or Conferences to us to enable us to post them on our website. This will immensely benefit all thos persons who are interested and would like to participate in such programs. We also request organizations that conduct training training programs on Geology and its allied subjects to send us information about such programs. We would be most happy to post proceedings of seminars and display photos of such events        One of the most important sections of our  webssite is the Gallery which would be a dedicated photo gallery where you will be able to see photos about important events held. It is at the gallery that you will also see invitations to seminars and symposia and other related images. They say that a picture or an image speaks volumes about the subject it dwells upon. If it is picture or image related to  geology, you can have a better understanding of the subject and it will help you comprehend about the process involved in its evolution. You are encouraged to send good quality original photos and if they are found to be suitable and original, they would be hosted on the website along with your name and source. Published Research Papers

Scientists, research students, and others who have had their research papers published in Research Journals and abstracts or papers printed in the proceedings of seminars, symposia and conferences are requested to post them on to the site for wider ciculation among the scientific community. People desirous of posting such papers can do so  in 'pdf' or 'doc' format on nominal charges.  you can upload your papers when you navigate to 'Submit Papers' menu and follow the instructions. Anyone can download the papers posted here by paying the specified charges. the charges so collected will be used for improvement and further development of the website so that it is ob better use to the scientific community. It is also contemplated to bring out on line Journal of International Academy of Geological Sciences for publishing the original research papers.
